About the Artist

Chris Stevenson has lectured for several decades in Visual Arts at Sydney tertiary institutions, including Macquarie University.

Since 2000, Chris's studio has been located in a former bread factory, but in the last year Chris has moved her studio to the country, close to the inspiration for her paintings. Chris and her family have owned several working farms in rural NSW, the most recent in the beautiful Megalong Valley. These farms have inspired her landscapes in acrylics, oil and wax. Her style moves between semi-abstract and abstract.
